I hope there are good watch dogs as to some of the elements of the bills as they come up for final passage. Still many people and peace organizations are working to find a way to get past all the hate, so I think there is still hope - once the hate campaign gets its fill. That may take a while since the flames are being fanned by any group that sees an advantage in it. But haven't we had this before and got past that. In some areas people are turning away from the haters and looking for moderates.
